A: The award-winning CACI non-surgical facelift is a serious alternative to cosmetic
surgery, and is a safe and natural treatment. It has fantastic anti-ageing benefits,
but can also be used as a form of ageing prevention for younger skins (from the
late 20’s onwards). There are multiple benefits to having a CACI treatment: it will
give you younger looking, firmer facial skin, improve acne scarring, sun damage
and dehydrated skin, promote a more visibly radiant skin through improved blood
circulation to the face, stimulate collagen to give plumper, fresher skin as well
as visibly softening lines and wrinkles.
A: With a CACI facial, you will see a result from the first treatment, as the lifting
effect is clearly visible, but you will see the best result after your course of
10 treatments as the current that is used, progresses through three different stages,
with increasing effect.
A: If you just have one treatment, you will be at the entry level of the current,
and so the effect of your facial will last 4-5 days. If you complete the course
of 10 treatments, then you will have progressed through increasing current levels,
and your treatment will last you 4-6 weeks until you come for your maintenance treatment.
A: Yes – as with all forms of exercise, if you stop doing it, your body will return
to how it was before you started exercising. CACI exercises the facial muscles,
and so the same is true. Once you have completed the intensive course of 10 treatments,
you will only need to come once every 4-6 weeks to maintain the effect.
A: Tiny electrical impulses are transmitted through unique cotton tipped probes
which contain a unique anti-ageing skin-firming serum. These low frequency electrical
impulses communicate with the muscle fibres using a unique electro-magnetic language
that effectively re-charges the electrical energy potential of the muscle. The unique
series of movements works in tandem with the electrical impulses, re-educates the
muscles to either relax or contract. Consequently, muscle tone is improved, facial
contours are redefined and the lines and wrinkles are softened and smoothed.
A: It depends on which CACI facial you select, and in what condition your skin is
to begin with – if you have a young skin (late 20’s to early 30’s) with only the
first signs of age beginning to appear, then the original CACI Non-Surgical Lift
begins at £40 per treatment. If you have a skin in you mid to late thirties with
some fine lines and wrinkles, then a Super CACI Lift begins at £45. If your skin
is starting to show signs of sun damage, or has any acne scarring, or a skin with
fine lines and wrinkles you may wish to start with the Ultimate Lift which starts
at £75 for a 90 minute treatment which includes microdermabrasion, the Lift, and
Wrinkle Comb.
A: Most people can have this treatment, but there are certain medical conditions
which would preclude treatment because of the electrical stimulation. For example,
this treatment is not suitable for anybody with a pacemaker. Your therapist will
go through a full list of contra-indications with you at your initial consultation.
A: No – CACI treatments can also be performed on the body – there is a CACI Bust
Lift, a Stomach Lift, a Legs & Buttock Lift, a Back Massage and an Anti-Ageing
Hand Treatment.
A: For the optimum result, CACI always recommends a course of 10 treatments, at
the rate of 2-3 per week for 3-4 weeks. The reason for this, is that it moves a
client through the increasing current strengths in the optimum timeframe, getting
the facial muscles re-educated so that the treatment will be sustainable with just
one treatment every 4-6 weeks thereafter.
A: Treatments can be carried out less often than we recommend on a course, but the
effect will not be as strong from having just one treatment, or from having one
treatment once a week over say 10 weeks. You will see an immediately visible effect
with just one treatment, but the effect will fully relax after 4-5 days.
A: The CACI facials are a comfortable treatment, with no visible muscle twitching,
if anything, you will just have the occasional mild pulsation at certain points
on your face – some clients feel nothing at all. It is relaxing, but this is not
a relaxation facial with a large proportion of facial massage. This is a serious,
efficacious lifting treatment which is carried out in a relaxing environment.
A: The CACI treatments are extremely effective on wrinkles and on skin which has
lost its firmness and tone and therefore has started to sag, such as with jowels.
A: Yes – neck skin and the underlying muscle can also be treated with CACI facial
treatments.
A: Yes – CACI treatments work to improve circulation underneath the eye, as well
as in treating fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. The treatment also lifts
the skin underneath the eye and underneath and above the eyebrow. This gives the
whole eye area a much fresher, ‘wide open’ look.
A: Yes – CACI treatments can be used in conjunction with other treatments, providing
they do not counteract the effect of the lift (ie/ another form of electrical stimulation
which is specifically targeted for anti-ageing/lifting). Deep cleansing treatments
which use electrical stimulation, for example a Cathiodermie, would complement the
Lift. We would advise that you leave a week to 10 days between the two treatments,
as electrical treatments are very stimulating to the skin.
A: No – CACI do not recommend treatments whilst you are pregnant. You may recommence
treatments once your pregnancy is complete, as soon as you feel ready for facial
treatments, and for the body treatments, if you have had a natural birth, then after
3-6 weeks, or if you have had a caesarean section it is advisable to wait 3-6 months
or until your scar has fully healed.
A: During the treatments we use specially formulated creams which are formulated
with the most efficacious natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Collagen. You
may continue with your usual cleansers/toners/moisturisers, or if you prefer, you
can purchase the CACI products for home use.
A: Yes, although with sensitive skins we would always recommend you come for a patch
test of the creams and lotions, and a patch test for the microdermabrasion, which
we will do for you free of charge
